Ian Hamilton Finlay

Ian Hamilton Finlay (Nassau, Bahamas 1925 - Edinburgh, March 27, 2006) preferred the title of "gardener" to that of artist or poet. For most of his life, he lived and worked in his property of Little Sparta in Dunsyre, Lanark (Scotland).
