In the small room at the end of the fattoria's corridor, the artist has covered the entire right wall with burnt wood. The intense black of the surface seems to express a catastrophic omen in the space. In the left hand corner, a black wedge-shaped form, made of lead, looms behind visitors entering the room; it is an excluded component, a physical manifestation of the loss referred to in the installation's title.
