{"id":6251,"date":"2024-01-30T15:08:42","date_gmt":"2024-01-30T15:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celle.in2real.com\/artista\/richard-long\/"},"modified":"2024-07-03T13:14:11","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T13:14:11","slug":"richard-long","status":"publish","type":"artista","link":"https:\/\/www.goricoll.it\/en\/artista\/richard-long\/","title":{"rendered":"Richard Long"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Richard Long (Bristol, 1945 &#8211; )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Richard Long arrived at Celle in 1985, hewas initially drawn to the floor of the former hayloft in the fattoria building, a newly restored space that was mostly empty except for Sol LeWitt&#8217;s<em>Wall Drawing #445<\/em>, which covered the surface of one side wall. To create his large <em>Ring<\/em>, Long chose a local stone of &#8220;Prato green&#8221;, which led him to search for small to medium-sized stones in the disused quarry of nearby Figline.
