1
Visit to the Collection of Site Specific Art and Italian Garden
Since 1982, the park has been open to the public at the behest of Giuliano Gori and his family. This type of visit allows participants to discover the environmental art works present both inside the park and in the buildings scattered around the estate. In fact, the works of environmental art are not limited to interacting with the outdoor spaces, but are also developed in some of the indoor spaces: historic buildings on the estate or architectural artefacts resulting from the renovations that took place between the 17th and 19th centuries.
2
Visit the Park through Poetry
The poetry tour moves through the most unexplored areas of the collection. The guide leads the route wile sharing stories about the land artworks and the artists’ work. During the walk, visitors will be able to listen to the italian voices of poets who have lived and written in the Gori Collection from 2018 to the present.
3
Visit with Tasting
This type of visit allows participants to discover and taste the products of the Fattoria di Celle, a workshop where artistic creativity is measured daily against nature. In fact, in addition to the environmental art collection, the Fattoria has been producing oil and wine for years, working in harmony with the land and its inhabitants. Moreover, since 2019, the entire production has undertaken the definitive conversion to organic farming.
Dedicated to schools
It is now more than 20 years since a park walk was inaugurated in Celle designed as a workshop for primary and secondary schools.
Discover more
In this three-hour tour, the installations in the park of the environmental art collection are discovered through a series of guide-actors who stimulate the children to reflect and play with the themes of the works.
The route has been organised by the Vivarte Association since 2012. To participate, it is necessary to book by September by sending an e-mail with the request to firenze01@consumoconsapevole.it or by calling this number 0554225622.
Schools are invited to participate after a series of short meetings in January and February with teachers on the themes of the park and contemporary art. These meetings are preparatory to the visit with the class.
Each visit is reserved for only one class at a time.
