Luigi Mainolfi

Luigi Mainolfi was born in Rotondi (Avellino) in 1948. He lives and works in Turin.

Among his one-man shows we recall here the ones held at Rimini (1992); Gian Ferrari Arte Contemporanea, Milan (1992/1996); Villa delle Rose, Bologna (1994); The Italian Cultural Institute, Paris (1995); Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea , Turin and la Società Promotrice delle Belle Arti, Turin (1995); Rotonda di San Pietro, Asti (1995); Fish Market, Pesaro (1998); "La Marrana" Associazione culturale, Montemarcello (1999); Sapporo Art Park, Japan (2001); Parco della Padula, Carrara (2002); Complesso di Santa Sofia, Salerno (2005); Pinacoteca Comunale, Varallo Pombia (Novara,2005); 2000 & Novecento Galleria d'Arte, Reggio Emilia (2007-8); Galleria Paola Verrengia, Salerno (2008-2009); Palazzo Madama, Turin (2011).

In 2005 he carried out the project "Al tempo delle rotonde" with the Art in Erba Association. In 2011 he installed his piece titled "For Those Who Fly" on the roof of the Fattoria building.
