Simone Gori was born 1986 in Florence, and he lives and works in Prato. After training as an architect and designer, he started his artistic career as a boy when, at 8 years old, he participated Goto with his projects for glasses in collaboration with Massimo Lunardon.

In 2012 he exhibited his artwork Bianco 900 at the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence. In 2014 he took part in Spaventapasseri in vigna Ca lunae (La Spezia) and competed in Ars gratia Artis with his photography project The Hidden Side of the Pillow, later shown also in Florence at the Galleria Corte Contemporanea.

In 2015, and again in 2018, he carried out works for the Carlo Palli Collection exhibitions titled Tavolette Energetiche and Adipem Unicornis.

He received an honorable mention at the Compasso d'Oro (an award for Architecture for Industrial Design) in 2018.

The following year the piece Bianco 900 was shown again at the Fondation Maeght a Saint-Paul de Vence in the L'esprit d'un Collection exhibition; soon afterwards he created Incubo for the art in the city of Prato initiative titled Tessuti Urbani.

The Creator of Clouds originated under the skies of Celle in October 2019 and is now on view inside the rooms of the Cascina Terrarossa exhibition space.
